Lev. 13:12 “And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;”

***Law #447 The metzora must not remove his signs of impurity

Deut. 24:8 “Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.”

***Law #448 The metzora must not shave signs of impurity in his hair

Lev. 13:33-36 ^“Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house…”

***Law #449 The metzora must publicize his condition by tearing his garments, allowing his hair to grow and covering his lips
